Sports statistic types

Every sports fanatic enjoys his game, cheers for his team and loves a cold one on the side.

While shouting at the top of your lungs is important, a fan and especially a punter should always have his eyes locked on numbers during the whole process. Statistics do not only mean goals, tries, points and runs; these numbers do determine who is winning and losing but when it comes to measuring a team’s performance and (what punters should find most important) predicting the future, statistics are all important.

Whether you call it sports science, sports statistics or just information containing a whole lot of numbers, these statistics give the match a meaning. You can interpret these stats in different ways, but there is no ignoring them. Sports Statistics is one of the best way (if not the only way) to measure why good teams are good while others are underperforming, which player in particular is holding the team down or which one is the its life-blood etc etc. Overall, it helps a bettor determine what team and market to choose in sports wagering. It shows everyone’s tendencies and what you can expect from them in each game.
