Registering with a bookmaker

Once you have figured out a bookmaker/s you want to place bets with, it’s time to register. Registration is a simple process and depends on how lengthy information the bookmaker wants from you. After opening the bookmaker’s website, look for the new account page. This may be called ‘join’ or ‘register’ or something similar. Upon clicking, a form will be presented to you, much like a bank account opening form.

Here you will have to fill in basic information like Name, Address, Date of Birth (all applicants must be 18+), Email address, Contact number, Username, Password and Betting Currency etc. Do not forget to mark the renowned ‘I accept the Terms and Conditions’ check box. Make sure you remember your username, password and the email you registered with, if you cannot remember, write it down and keep it confidential. After filling out all the requisite information, simply click ‘Open my account’ or ‘Create my account’ or something similar that’s made available. You will be notified that you have registered with the bookie successfully if all your input information seems satisfactory. Many bookies will also send you a confirmation email to the address you registered.

If you’re thinking, is it this simple to register? Unsurprisingly yes it is. Now it’s time to fund your account.
